About Us

Threadform was set-up in 2004 to design and produce made-to-measure canvas shelters and to provide something different to the tent hire market. Threadform focuses on design, function, aesthetics and tailoring.

Threadform was created by Emma Lloyd who has designed and produced textiles from a young age. As a teenager Emma designed and made her own clothes, after art college Emma started producing bags and hats, clothing, curtains and loose covers. This led to working on larger, more structural projects using geometry. Emma is a self-taught architect and tent maker with over 24 years experience of machine sewing.

We Produce

Designer handbags, made-to-measure tents and awnings, canvas covers, canvas shelters, loose covers, curtains and architectural canvas canopies.

Tent hire for individuals or groups who wish to entertain or hold functions out of doors, including pubs and restaurants needing temporary additional shelter.
