Who Are We?
Emma Lloyd has designed and produced textiles from a young age; as a teenager designing and making her own clothes and after art college producing bags, hats, clothing, curtains, covers and woven textiles, launching her first label ‘Bag Lady’ in 1995. This led to working on larger, more structural projects using geometry. Emma has gained extensive practical experience in textile architecture and engineering with over 27 years experience of pattern cutting and machine sewing.
Emma created Threadform in 2004 in order to design and produce made-to-measure canvas shelters and to provide something different to the tent hire market. Threadform focuses on fabric quality, durability, design, function, aesthetics and tailoring. The Threadform Studio is located in the beautiful Ystwyth valley in Ceredigion, West Wales.
